The Association of Washington Healthcare Plans (AWHP) was formed in 1996 as an alliance of licensed health maintenance organizations (HMO) and health care service contractors (HCSC) that provide health care coverage to over 4 million residents in Washington State. Several of the health plans had been meeting informally since 1989 as The HMO Forum.
What Is The Purpose of AWHP?
